Only some sections. And there are many more spires that hang from the roof of the cavern in Ched Nasad (at some point in its history :P).

Your maps actually capture the beauty of Menzoberanzan. This is very close to what I emagined when i read Homeland. You are a very good cartographer.

You really did an excellent job taking the image of Menzoberranzan from Todd Lockwood's Homeland cover and turning it into a full map. I think I know the answer already, but how come there aren't any stalactites visible in the cavern?

Well, the top of the cavern is transparent, so stalactites weren't a viable option (at least in the way the art direction asked the piece to be done). Most of the major buildings / structures are stalagmites, so it worked out alright, I think. :) I'm glad you like the map. I paid a lot of attention to Mr. Lockwood's work for the color and setup of the map.

That's what I figured. It seems like it would be really difficult - and not very effective - to illustrate the cavern with a bunch of stalactites in the way. :) Again, really great job!

This is my favorite of the maps, but they're all good. It also reminds me that I wanted to ask you about perspective on these looking down at a city kind of things. But I'll do that later when I can form coherent thoughts.
